Hey y’all. The technical mastermind behind Ginger Designs is a ginger himself. He goes by the name of Chris Carlson. He is not very fond of writing in the third person.

I’ve been a natural ginger for 22 years. I was raised in a ginger-hating environment in the frozen tundra of Minnesota. Although I have been teased about my gorgeous locks (due to envy and South Park) I have only suffered through one brief hair identity crisis during my teens. Alas I did not succumb to lame ol’ downtown brown and kept my hair dye free. I’m fully comfortable and proud of my hair color; years of harsh insults have given me thick freckled skin.

Besides being passionate about my hair, I love drawing, doodling, illustrating, and designing. Ideally I like to sketch out all ideas before starting on a project. My dream job would be working as an illustrator. Right now I’m looking to find a job with a graphic design firm in order to gain valuable design experience.
